So tomorrow I have this interview for some summer program and I need to do a project using a paper bag.
Guidelines:
•The paper bag can be lunch or supermarket size, but you may only use one.
•Additionally, you may use glue and/or tape to hold your piece together.
•The object of the assignment is to transform an everyday object into something new and unexpected.
•Consider the types of tools you can use: scissors, Exacto blades, your hands, rulers, hole punchers, even water!
•This artwork can be 2-dimensional or 3-dimensional. However, you may NOT apply colors or use pencil etc. to draw on the bag, so it may be best create something that is unlike a picture.
•Your artwork must be an original abstract creation, NOT a representational form like a person, dog, house, plane, etc.
I want something kinda simple and not too time-consuming or complicated to do. I don’t usually do [or like] abstract art, which is why I’m having trouble with it.
Any good ideas?
