How can I make abstracts with construction paper?
My mom doesn’t like me getting too messy with art, and today, all I asked her was if I could use a tiny dab of black paint! She, said no, and I felt like I wanted to kill her, because she ALWAYZ says no!!! And I have alot of colored paper, so I was thinking if I could make pictures with some scraps! Buut I need ideas! It’s for my bedroom ‘cuz It needs remodeling! but, I just need some ideas that I could make with the paper! Perferablly abstracts!

Did you know that that “South Park” program started out as cut pieces of construction paper? Doodle your idea, separate the idea into different segments that are color-coordinated, and piece them together. I believe that you can do it!
This sounds like fun! Go ahead and draw out a design in the same size you want your art work, but set up like a paint by number. Use that as a guide to cut your paper. A little elmers glue (and if that’still too messy for your mother there’s always double sided tape,) and a piece of poaster board,and you’re done. It doesent have to exact to be good, so just have fun with it.
