I show you some of the good the techniques I use when I paint the painting. Speaking through a language consisting only of lines and colors, Abstract Art can be a translation, expression, or a representation of something rather than a portrait of it. Some individuals compare it to that of a child’s school project. Defined, Abstract Art uses a visual language of form, color, and line to create a composition. Throughout history there were 3 art movements that contributed to the evolution of this timeless art: Romanticism originated in the second half of the 18th century in Western Europe where it increased in its popularity during the industrial revolution. It can be described as a revolt to aristocratic social and political norms during times of Western philosophy and cultural life: the Age of Enlightenment Expressionism artists explored new techniques such as intense colors, drawing distortions, and bold use of paint surface. This would create incredibly emotionally charged works that came from reaction and emotion rather than a subject.
