We’re making a “Teapot that isn’t a teapot” / “an abstract tea pot. ”
The requirements are it has to have a spout, touch down at three points and it has to be six inches in one direction.
And I have NO idea what to make! Help?!

a pitcher works ♥
Make it look like something you are familiar with such as a shoe, softball, vase, or cabbage.
have the spout be the mouth of a river
Well there are plant holders that fit this description…made out of clay with “spouts: at different levels when the plan is put in and grows out of. Use that as an idea, and make one spout long than the others. Pretty easy. You can see what I mean in any plant store.
The whole point of this project is to get YOUR creative juices flowing. Use your noggin and have fun with it and come up with an idea yourself. That’s pretty cheesedick if you can’t figure out how to make some kind of teapot for ART CLASS on your own. Are you retarded?
Okay, so I’m now hooked on your project. I’ve done some ceramic/clay modeling and have even made a spouted, handled, thrown lidded teapot. Researching ideas for you has been exciting, and made me wish it were MY project! lol
I bet you’ll be inspired too! After you check out the many possibilities at the sites below, I know you’ll have in mind something you want to try.
Have fun planning and creating, and here’s best wishes for an A. b/t/w, don’t forget to attach the spout while the clay is still quite moist, or else it’ll be hard to get it to stick, and don’t forget to poke holes in the pot, so it’ll flow into the spout. (Function and Form:)
How about Cupid leaning back on something (tree stump?).
I wonder what you could do for a spout that’s 6 inches long? I’m kinda stumped there, but no doubt you can conjure up something wicked.
Maybe one of those vans from the 60′s that was 3 wheeled or a wheel barrow (2 spouts with the handles).
